Inspection Data Reporting Application

You are here: Home / News / Inspection Data Reporting Application

June 14, 2021 //  by Nancy Isarin

To record inspection data on transfrontier shipments (TFS) of waste on the spot, the LIFE SWEAP project developed an inspection data reporting application for mobile devices. The app is for inspectors and law enforcement officers in the EU to record their inspections of waste shipments and allow their organisations to have a full record of the inspections, the violations detected and follow-up actions.

Build-in is also a flagging system whereby inspectors or law enforcement officers of one country can send an alert to their colleagues in another country where the waste is destined for or is being shipped through.  The app can also be used to send data to the SWEAP team and for intelligence analysis.

Download the app

The app is available for Android devices in the Google Play store and for iOS devices in the App store. The recording of data can also be done via de desktop version.

In order to gain access to the TFS inspection data reporting app, please send an email to the national LIFE SWEAP coordinator in your country or to LIFE SWEAP project coordinator: Transfrontier[at]sepa.org.uk
